Today was the first day of school in Spain for the Spanish Exchange students. Many of our students couldn’t believe how small the classrooms were or that the school had a museum connected to the institute. Our students mingled with students from a French Exchange that is simultaneously taking place, and they completed their presentations in various English classrooms. Our students presented in Spanish while the Spaniards would pose questions to each group in English. Everyone is having a wonderful time, enjoying the food, and the sites. Our students spent the entire day at our sister school, Alfonso X El Sabio, then they went home with their partners.
Tomorrow will be a long day. We will be visiting the beautiful city of Cartagena!
