Mayor Vincenzo de Luca boasts that Salerno is, “la città più viva d’Italia” or “the most lively city of Italy”. Judging from the lights, decorations and overall excitement in the air, this is certainly true. Lucky for our LHS Italian Exchange students, they are experiencing this first hand. The tree in Salerno, lit only a few days ago, stands at 27 meters tall and the various lights bring the town to life even in darkness!
