Yesterday students embarked on the journey of a lifetime to the eternal city of Rome. They saw one of the best-preserved of all Ancient Roman buildings, the Pantheon, which has been in use since the 7th century and is currently a Roman-Catholic church. They also got to experience everyday Italian life by visiting two of the best known squares, Piazza Navona and Piazza del Plebiscito. In addition to the Vatican, they also saw the infamous “Colosseo” decorated for the holidays.
