Students from the LHS Italian Exchange were able to step back in time to the medieval days of long ago during their visit to the village of Casertavecchia. The town, which is a part of Caserta, is an Italian medieval village that lies at the base of the Tifatini Mountains. It is located 10 kilometers northeast of the City of Caserta. Its name translated from Italian means “Old Caserta”. Moreover, one of our own LHS students, Sara Mosquera, was able to celebrate her 17th birthday while in Italy. Who could think of a better birthday present?
