Good Afternoon Everyone,
Today was our second day of school in Spain and we headed to a beautiful city near Murcia called Cartagena. At the beginning of the day, our students were dropped off in the front of the institute where they met with Señorita Romero and myself. We quickly departed on our trip to Cartagena. The students were amazed with the lively city and the architecture of the Roman Theatre. There, they had a tour on a boat around the coast of the various fortresses that once protected the city of Cartagena. Then, we continued to the Roman Museum were they admired the historical artifacts and history of Cartagena. After the tour, we proceeded to La Manga y el Mar menor (young sea) to enjoy the rest of the beautiful day at the beach. Tomorrow will be a long day, we will be visiting the historical city of Granada.
