Linden High School students listen to the introduction to the presentation

On the morning of Friday, March 28, 2014, a group of students from many different backgrounds had the opportunity to witness a presentation of A Few Steps in a Stranger’s Shoes.

With its focus on the effects of bullying and harassment, this play encourages students to not only be aware of their own assertive behaviors, but also to be aware of how they might deal best with the confrontational behaviors of others. Through a combination of strategies, the participants learn what works and what doesn’t when a bully acts. This program was funded by a HEART grant from the Union County Cultural and Heritage Affairs and expires on March 31, 2014, making the presentation at Linden High School one of its final performances. We are honored to have had them perform here.
