The Linden Public Schools are proud to announce that one of our 9th grade students, Damian Michael Allison has been selected by IACE (The Italian American Committee on Education) to spend time this summer in Italy where he will be able to further his knowledge of Italian language and culture.
After presenting his project to an awards committee earlier this year, Damien and his teacher, Ms. Erena Russo, were notified of this honor. Without her assistance guiding him through the application process, Damien might not have been recognized by IACE.
We would all like to express our appreciation for the outstanding work that Ms. Russo and Mr. Fischetti do to promote the Italian dolce vita for all of their students at Linden High School.
